I dunno. Some RSS readers, such as the one I use, have been displaying my posts twice. Sometimes at the same time, sometimes the second time is a day later. This happens on a few other blogs I read. FYI, I have no control over this, since the site is managed by WordPress and their software. Unless someone who reads this is intimately familiar with how I could tweak this to change, it’s going to remain.

That’s not to say that sometimes I don’t update posts. Occasionally I fix something, though more often on older posts – even months later – I’ll add an “Edited to Add” at the bottom that’s an update to the story, rather than doing a full new post on the subject. I did this a lot for August 2013’s, “Military Punishing People for Objecting to The Gay?”

So, set your reader to point out edits made to a story, quickly scan it to see if there have been any changes, and then please pardon the WP errors that lead to duplicated, non-edited posts.

Hello Again

When Safari takes up half my RAM, I know it’s time to get to my giant back-log of WND stories to write about. I have a lot, dating back from February 24, 2014. But, I was getting burned out, which is why I had stopped my daily cadence that I maintained for many months. My goal is to re-focus this blog back on what I had initially intended: Not to be necessarily a political or religious commentary, but to point out egregious falsehoods, misrepresentations, crazy ideas/arguments, and ridiculous comments by their authors and commenters. So, I’m closing out a lot of the stories I had earmarked to talk about, and I’m going back to ones that I think best represent the level of crazy over at Wing Nut World Net Daily.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been on a very long vacation in Australia since December 16. I return to the US on January 21. I thought that I would have a huge amount of free time to do blogging and work on other various projects that I’ve put off, but that has not been the case: far from it, I’ve been perhaps more busy than usual with sight-seeing while still doing the minimum amount of work-work I need to do for various deadlines during this trip.

As such, I wanted to give y’all a heads up that I’ve been collecting WND articles, daily, to write about when time allows. Given my podcast’s upcoming 100th episode spectacular, slated for February 1, I may be slightly delayed in resuming blogging until after that.

Thanks for following and I hope you’ll keep reading when I get back!

Blogging to Resume Next Week

Posted: December 11, 2013 in Memo to the Reader

Sorry loyal fans, I head to Australia next week for 37(ish) days, and I’m attempting to get a lot of work and other things done in the meantime. I have over 50 WND stories from which to write posts all opened and ready to go, I just need time to write them. 37 hours of traveling next Tuesday (layovers plus flying across the Pacific) will provide a reasonable amount of time to do so.

Fixed Links

Posted: October 24, 2013 in Memo to the Reader

It appears as though my attempt to do things a bit faster resulted in links that were not working. I have gone back over the last dozen posts and I think fixed everything. Sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if I’ve missed anything.

I’m up past Lyons, CO, and we are basically trapped in by a 200-foot-wide moat that used to not be anything. No power for about 30 hours now. Blogging will resume when it does.

By the way, I fully expect some asshole religious nut to say that this 500-year flood is some deity’s divine wrath over something. Colorado’s legalization of same-sex unions, Obama doing whatever, etc. I’m sure one of them will make it on WND. If they do, expect that post to be super-pissy on my part.

Blogging Back on Monday

Posted: August 3, 2013 in Memo to the Reader

For those who know me from elsewhere, you may know I’m in the middle of a move from one city to another. This weekend is the big ‘un with all the furniture. So, blogging to resume probably Monday.
